File sharing made simple
Share files on SkyDrive with the people you choose. And if you want to change their permissions later—no problem.
Share a file by sending an email
Locate the file you'd like to share.
Select the check box for the file, and then look at the information area to the right. Under Sharing, click Share.
Actions for files and folders appear to the right of the file and folder lists.Click To to choose from your contacts.
It's easy to share your files with specific people.Click Share.
Change permissions
Locate the file you're sharing.
Select the check box for the file, and then look at the information area to the right.
Under Sharing, select Can view or Can edit for the people you’re sharing with.
Use the x icon to completely stop sharing the file with someone. Your changes are saved automatically.
It's easy to set sharing permissions for your files.
